Delivery of consignments with collection of their value (COD Service), is a standard service provided by Primewell. Your CODs are Guaranteed. The collected values are returned to our clients every Thursday or Friday for all deliveries completed by the previous Monday.

According to the IATA regulations, the charge for each shipment depends on its volume and its weight.

When the value of the dimensional weight (length x width x height in cm / 5000) of the shipment is greater than its actual weight, the charge of the shipment is based on the dimensional weight.

Example:

1 carton with an actual weight of 2 kg has the following dimensions: 35x40x25cm. (LxWxH).

The dimensional weight of the carton will be: 35x40x25/5000 = 7 kg.

As we can see, the dimensional weight is greater than the actual weight.

Therefore, the charge of this shipment will be based on the dimensional weight of 7 kg.

The Fuel Surcharge is an extra fee, determined as a percentage of the base rate, charged by most transport companies to allow for the fluctuating costs of fuel.

Most companies in Europe use an index-based surcharge that is adjusted weekly. Changes to the surcharge will be effective on Monday of each week. The surcharge will be based on the U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC) price for kerosene-type jet fuel as reported by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) for the week that is two weeks prior to the adjustment, rounded to the nearest cent.

Our rates include the current Fuel Surcharge rate but reserve the right to change the fuel surcharge rate, and therefore the shipping rate, without a prior notice.

All claims must be submitted to our company through an email to CS@PrimewellCourier.com within 24 hours from the date of delivery.  A consignment that has sustained internal damage with no external signs of damage is due to poor internal packaging. No claims of this nature are accepted. However, if the consignments external package is damaged then the receiver will have to sign for the consignment as «damaged» upon delivery
